Free Zone:
Airtel mobile customers will soon get to access Gmail, Google+ and the Google web search for free since Bharti Airtel and Google jointly have decided to launch a special service termed as 'Free Zone' with an aim to make web accessible and affordable by all mobile users.
But be careful while using Google search since the service allows only to access the first page of a website from the search results for free. Any attempts to browse further will direct the user to Airtel's Data Plans page to select suitable data package to browse the website further.
Gmail users have unlimited access to Gmail but clicking a link or a download an attachment will direct them to buy a data package and proceed. The Google+ users will be able to share photos and messages with circle friends and others for free.
Airtel customers will be able to access this service by following the instructions posted in www.airtel.in/freezone .
